Ever been watching a movie when someone’s trying to talk to you in person? You can probably hear the person, but you might not be able to listen them.

That’s because hearing and listening are pretty different things. Hearing is just perceiving sound, While listening means turning what you hear into meaningful messages.

What is Reflection? [We learnt word ‘Listen’, now see ‘Reflection’]

Reflection is a wave, changing its direction When it interface with surface. And with this process, we can see True image/things.[That we may not see from the stand point at we’re watching right now.] It means, In reflection Ray move in another direction, Find& Know new things.

Reflective listening is a continuous process as other processes. Because whenever& whatever we hear, reflects in mind. By the way.. that’s why we say “Listen Good”.

My friend is asking me If I’ve studied chapter4? I’m thinking why he is asking? I suddenly realized, Today is Exam and His sit number is next to me. That’s why he asked😄.

Let’s Imagine Dwayne and his team sell electronic instruments to colleges. It’s their busy season, and everyone’s working hard.

One day, Projector department manager, Kevin tells to Dwayne, he’s quitting immediately. Dwayne shocked. Kevin explains, he’s telling him for weeks that he’s overworked and dealing with personal issues.

If Dwayne had been practicing reflective listening he might have understood Kevin before he quitted job.

Here we come to our How part of this business skill.

How to do reflective listening?

You just need to reflect words rightly& it needs 2 things: (1)Knowledge (2)Practice. After reading this blog, you’ll get enough knowledge to start best. After then you’ve to practice it.

Create a good surrounding[Specially for Business]

You need to create an atmosphere to talk productive. Some places meeting, some guys create group discussion Etc Etc.

Organically opportunities to meet& talk with your team about their challenges can take some of the guesswork out of community. You can prepare a schedule. Figure out what can make it easy. In short try to make Reflective listening more relaxed anyhow.

Listen& Imagine what I say. Catch every words.

1st, let the person speak you’re talking to. Have enough patience to listen them Full. Don’t cut them. Just observe their talk& expressions. Understand his words, Know What& Why they they’re saying. What’s reason& motto behind their talk!

If Anything You’re confused about, Don’t pretend. Just get clarification. Ask to explain in detail. Be natural. I would like to talk with Human rather than Alexa or Siri.

“Good listener is who also Asks.”

Now I tell you central part of this game.

Once, that person had their say, it means they had also shared their emotions& feelings with you. If you’re sharp observer, then you’ll prefer to focus on your mind. Because their emotions and words will also impact you. Emotions will be generated in your mind itself, because of this. Then you’ve to give them a right direction.

1st decide what they’ve said is really true at the most? If it is good, then be free. And if it is not, then Beware& sort it out. This is important to ask yourself, because sometime you may be wrong because of lack of accurate information. And you start behaving wrong emotionally. So 1st get true knowledge.
